Documents Commonly Requested in Indian Government Tenders: Complete Technical Dossier
A complete checklist of mandatory statutory, technical, and financial documents required for solar and electrical NITs.
Missing even a single mandatory document can disqualify your technical bid before price evaluation ever begins. Here is the standard dossier every contractor should keep current:
1. Statutory & Legal: Certificate of Incorporation / Partnership Deed, GSTIN Certificate with recent GSTR-3B filings, PAN Card, and MSME Udyam Registration Certificate.
2. Financial Credentials: CA-certified Annual Turnover Certificates with valid UDIN (Unique Document Identification Number) for the last 3 financial years, Audited Balance Sheets and P&L statements, and a Solvency Certificate from your scheduled commercial bank.
3. Technical & Personnel: Work Completion Certificates issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer, valid Electrical Contractor Licence (Class A or B), and EPF/ESIC registration challans for technical manpower.
4. OEM Backing: Manufacturer Authorization Forms (MAF) from Tier-1 ALMM listed solar PV module and inverter manufacturers.
Ensure all scanned PDFs are high resolution (200 DPI) and digitally signed with a Class-3 DSC token prior to uploading to CPPP or GeM.
This guide provides general procedural orientation for public procurement in India. Rules and qualifying criteria vary by specific procuring entity. Always consult the official NIT document for authoritative terms.
