How TenderPilot India Works
An open breakdown of our data pipeline, deterministic scoring formula, mock AI extraction, and platform limitations.
1. Data Collection & Source Verification
Only verified public sources & administrator uploadsWe focus strictly on public procurement in the solar and electrical sectors. For this MVP, all listings comprise structured demo seed records and administrator-uploaded CSV datasets. We strictly avoid unauthorized web scraping. Every single tender record in our database includes:
- Official buyer name (e.g., MAHAGENCO, BESCOM, TANGEDCO)
- Direct URL to the official government e-procurement portal
- Clear "Demo Data" visibility indicator on sample records
- Source confidence rating (High, Medium, Low)
2. Deterministic 0–100 Profile Matching
Mathematical scoring without fuzzy AI guessworkUnlike generic AI platforms that generate inconsistent advice, TenderPilot evaluates tender fit using explicit mathematical rules based on your configured business parameters:
3. AI Summaries with Evidence Snippets
Every extracted point links back to quoted textWe extract key requirements into structured data (EMD exemptions for MSMEs, Net Metering clauses, OEM authorizations, and penalties). Crucially, every major extracted requirement includes a direct quoted evidence snippet citing the specific clause in the NIT so you can verify it directly.
The official tender document is ALWAYS authoritative: While TenderPilot assists with discovery and preliminary evaluation, our match scores and summaries do NOT guarantee eligibility or tender victory. Buyers frequently issue corrigenda, addendums, and clarifications. You MUST download and review the official tender document directly from the government portal before preparing and submitting any bid.
